The strategic direction of the Society for Experimental Biology is set by its Council.
We have three Scientific Sections and SEB+ Section who generate the ideas for meetings, publications and other initiatives that keep the Society buoyant.
The Meetings Committee and the Publications Committee develop those ideas further within the strategy set by the Council. Other committees and working groups of the Society ensure that we strike the correct balance between supporting biology and planning for a stable financial future.
An organisation chart showing Council Members and staff can be found here.
The Committees usually meet in Charles Darwin House and the meetings dates for 2016 can be seen here.
The members of the Committees and working groups are either SEB members or have skills relevant for proper running of SEB. Without these enthusiastic individuals, the Society would not exist and huge thanks must go to them for their continuing efforts.
Details of SEB Committees can be found here
