Council
- Chaired by the President
- 12 Members, two in attendance (eight Members must be present to be quorate)
- Responsible for strategy of Society and meeting requirements of Charities Commission and Companies House
Ad-Hoc Time Limited Working Groups dealing with strategic developments
- Chaired by the Vice President
Appointments Committee
- Chaired the Vice President, Section Committee Chairs, 2 independents
- All must be present (virtually or otherwise) to be quorate
Remuneration Committee
- Consisting of 3 Independent members
- Three Independent members must be present for this committee to be quorate
Meetings Committee
- Chaired by Vice President
- Includes Section Secretaries (x4), Treasurer, CEO and Conference and Communications Manager
- Five members of this committee must be present to be quorate
- Make all decisions on Meetings with regards to locations/venues, operating budgets, catering, etc.
Section Committees
- Responsible for planning the scientific sessions at meetings and in relation to the EPA the educational sessions at meetings and other EPA projects
- Including where appropriate, co-operation at joint meetings with other Societies or organisations
- Responsible for the constitution of the Groups within the respective Sections and the co-ordination of such Groups and arrangement of joint sessions between the Sections
- Five members must be present to be quorate
Website Working Group
- Includes Section Secretaries, Conference and Communications Manager, CEO and selected members from Section Committees
- Five members must be present to be quorate
- Regularly review scientific content of web site
- Responsibility for providing new content on scientific sections to CSAO
Publications Committees
- Chaired where appropriate by Publications Officer
- Include Deputy Publications Officer and one representative from each of the Sections.
- Responsible for co-ordinating strategy of all Society publications
Audit Committee
- Consisting of 3 Independent members
- In attendance Company Secretary, Treasurer, CEO, Auditors
- Responsible for working with the Auditors to produce Society accounts on an annual basis
- Three Independent members must be present for this committee to be quorate
Investments Committee
- Chaired by Company Secretary
- Including President, Treasurer, Publications Officer, Independent member
- In attendance CEO
- Three members must be present for this committee to be quorate
