Group Convenors

Each interest group is headed up by a 'Group Convenor'. The convenor takes a lead role in co-ordinating the activities of their interest group within the SEB, and reports these activities to Section. Group convenors are also responsible for the allocation of group funding and managing proposals for the SEB's Annual Main Meeting. A group is simply a theme to represent the interests of SEB members.  While there is no formal list of members for a group, (anyone with an interest can get involved!), the group does need to contribute to the annual scientific meeting of the Society at least every two years.

Should you wish to propose a topic for any of the upcoming SEB Annual Main meetings, please submit your proposal to the relevant convenor by no later than February of the year preceding the year of the meeting for which you wish to run a session. For example, if you wish to run a session at SEB Valencia 2013, your proposal must be submitted before February 2012. Information on how to submit a proposal can be found here.
