From Proteome to Phenotype

Travel grants

The Society for Experimental Biology (SEB) and GARNet are offering student and early career scientists the opportunity to apply for a grant (up to £200) to attend the ‘From Proteome to Phenotype: role of post-translational modifications’ symposium on 11-13 December 2017.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for a grant you must:

  • Be a Student or Early career scientist member of the SEB
  • Have an abstract (talk or poster) accepted for presentation at the symposium
  • Have registered and paid to attend the symposium before the closing application deadline.

How to apply

To apply for a travel grant, you must complete an application form and return it to Oliver Kingham, abstract@sebiology.org, by Midnight (GMT) on Friday 3 November 2017.

Terms and conditions

  • The maximum funding per grant is up to £200 and can only be used to support travel and accommodation costs.
  • Grants will be only be reimbursed after the symposium.
  • Successful applicants will be asked to provide a short report of their experience at the symposium which will be used by the SEB & GARNet.
