Instructions for using the SEB Online Abstract System
Important Note - Browser Compatibility Issues
Please note that the online system is currently only operational on PCs running Internet Explorer. If you do not have access to a PC running Internet please click on browser compatibility problems.
How do I submit a talk/poster online?
- Click on the link saying 'click here to submit an abstract'.
- Enter your full name, institution and contact details into the form provided. Please enter the name and institution of any associates who have worked with you on the research being presented. To add more than one associate, please click “add” and then overtype.
- Click 'next' at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the session you wish to submit to using the pull down box provided.
- Select 'poster' or 'talk' using the radio buttons.
- Click 'next'
- Copy and paste your title and abstract into the boxes provided. Please ensure that your abstract does not exceed 250 words. Please insert any symbols using the boxes on the left-hand side.
- Click “next” to preview your abstract.
- If you would like to make any changes, then simply click “prev” to return to the previous screen.
- When you are happy with your submission, click “save and commit”.
- You will then receive an email (within 2 hours) confirming that your submission has been received.
- You will then receive a further email (by August 2008) informing you as to whether your submission has been accepted.
- Please do not hesitate to contact the Conference Team (abstract@sebiology.org) if you do not receive either of these emails or if you need any help with the submissions process.
