EMBO Barcelona 2010 Travel Grant
The SEB have agreed to fund 4 SEB Student and Early Career Scientist Members to attend the European Molecular Biology Organisation Conference in Barcelona from September 4-7, 2010. http://www.the-embo-meeting.org/
Each grant will be for £500 to cover travel costs to attend the conference. The winners of the travel grants will also receive complimentary registration for the conference. To apply please see the form on the righthand side of this webpage. The deadline is June 30th. Please be aware that the abstract deadline for this conference has been extended to July 30. All applications that do not fulfill the criteria stated on the application form will not be accepted. EMBO has kindly agreed to set aside 20 free places at their very popular "Expanding Career Options" luncheon (click here for more information).
In order to claim a spot please follow the instructions below:
- Please register as per normal via the on-line system to The EMBO Meeting
- When asked to select which sessions you would like to attend as part of the Career Day do not select the Expanding Career Options Lunch (this may even show that the session is fully booked, but we have block booked 20 places for SEB members)
- Then send an e-mail to : the.embo.meeting@embo.org, Subject: SEB offer - Expanding Career Options lunch, with your conference registration confirmation stating that you are an SEB Member and would like to attend the Expanding Career Options Lunch.
