Vice Presidency Nominations
The Society would like to invite members to propose an individual with a background in animal biology* for the position of Vice President. The Vice President Role will commence in July 2011, and continue through to July 2013, when the VIce President then takes up the role of President of the Society for a further two years.

The scheduled timeline for the nomination process is as follows:
June 2010 Announcement to Membership and Animal Section
1st September 2010 Closing date of nominations/submissions
September 2010 Discussion of candidates by Sections
December 2010 Decision of Vice-President Selection Committee on position
January – June 2011 Induction of new Vice-President at various committee meetings and induction day
July 2011 New Vice-President takes up office
*The Vice-Presidency rotates between the three scientific Sections of the Society: Animal; Plant; and Cell
