Propose a Meeting topic
The SEB invites its members to submit proposals for the following:
topics for sessions within the Annual Meeting
- a symposium within the Plant section or SEB+
- a satellite meeting to be run alongside the SEB Annual Conference
SEB Members can submit proposals and funding request to organise a session at the SEB Annual Meeting.
If your proposal is successful, you are likely to be the main organiser for that session and will liaise closely with the SEB Events Team, who will provide full secretariat support.

The Plant Section runs a symposium every two years and proposals for meeting topics are welcome from SEB members.
To submit a proposal on a specific topic to be run as a focused plant symposium, you will need to complete a symposium proposal form and send it to us by email. Your proposal will then passed to the Plant Section Chair for consideration at the next meeting of the Plant Section Committee and the Meetings Committee. The Meetings Committee decides on the proposals.
If your proposal is successful, you are likely to be the main organiser for that symposium and will liaise closely with the SEB Events Team, who will provide full secretariat support.

SEB members can submit proposals and apply for funding to organise a satellite meeting, which usually takes place immediately before or after our Annual Meeting.
