The Society for Experimental Biology (SEB) is offering three student travel grants of £200 for the 'Improving experimental approaches in animal biology: Implementing the 3Rs' symposium on 29 June – 1 July 2016. There will be one bursary awarded for each of the 3Rs (Refinement, Replacement and Reduction).

To apply for a travel grant, you must complete an application form and return it to Oliver Kingham,, by 16:00 (UK time) on 29 April 2016. 

Eligibility criteria:

  • Must be a student member of SEB or The Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB)
  • First author presenting a poster or a talk at the symposium
  • Registered (and fully paid) to attend the symposium

The successful applicant will be asked to provide a report of their experience at the meeting which will be used by the SEB.
