The Botanical Building is located in the heart of Gothenburg and is easily reachable from the airport, making it a convenient location to get to.

To get to the Botanical Building from Gothenburg - Landvetter airport:

  • Take the Flygbussarna airport shuttle to Göteborg Korsvägen and disembark
  • From Göteborg Korsvägen ( The tram stop outside Gothia Towers), take the (8) Frölunda Torg tram 5 stops to Göteborg Botaniska Trädgården.
  • The Botanical Building (map) is a 5 minute walk from this stop.

By Air

Gothenburg is serviced by Gothenburg Landvetter Airport which is just a 25 minute bus journey to the heart of Gothenburg. London and Paris are only 1.5 hours away and travel from Southern Europe is under 3 hours away.

By Train

There are a number of services that connect Gothenburg with other Scandinavian capitals Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen. The journey times are just under 4 hours from Oslo, around 3 hours from Stockholm and 3.5 hours from Copenhagen. Trains from Denmark stop at Copenhagen international airport, making it a convenient option to fly there and catch a train to Gothenburg.
