The Ice-bear. The White-bear. The Polar bear. A fond favourite of Christmas cards and decorations, this beautiful creature is synonymous with snowy landscape and frozen oceans of the Arctic. Unfortunately, polar-bears have also become the unwilling cover-animal of climate change. With 37 years of field research experience studying polar bears across the Canadian Arctic, western Russia, and Svalbard, the SEB is very pleased to be welcoming Dr. Andrew E. Derocher to give his talk entitled "Apex predator in peril: polar bears in a warming Arctic".

This webinar is free to attend so invite your colleagues, friends, and family to join you - just make sure to register ahead of time.
