The Plant Journal seeks Editor-in-Chief
Professor Christoph Benning intends to stand down from his tenure as Editor-in-Chief at the end of his current term. The likely start point for a new Editor-in-Chief will be sometime in 2018. In order to provide ample time for succession planning, we intend to have a successor agreed in time for the New Year. The Plant Journal exists to support the plant science community and will consider applications for the role of Editor-in-Chief from candidates outside of the existing board.
Interested candidates for this role should apply to tpj-editor@wiley.com . The journal will consider applicants with either past Editor-in-Chief experience or Editors who have held senior roles within the top publications in the field of plant sciences. Applications should include previous roles held, a cv and a brief 1-2 page proposal outlining the candidates vision for the journal under their stewardship.
The closing date for applications is 5th November 2016.
