Surayya Johar is the Publishing Editor of the journal Biology Letters.
Surayya has 15-years’ of experience in scientific publishing and has worked with a number of publishers including Springer and The BMJ before moving to The Royal Society. Her current role is to manage the publishing process to ensure that papers are assessed efficiently. She is also responsible for upholding policies and developing the journal to provide a high level of service to authors, reviewers and readers.
