Conservation Physiology opens new editorial internship opportunities for early-career researchers
Conservation Physiology is pleased to announce the launch of a new Editorial Internship programme , designed specifically for early career researchers.
This initiative aims to provide hands-on experience of the editorial process, offering valuable insights into manuscript handling and peer review. In the first year, three positions will be made available
The selected interns will work closely with the Editor-in-Chief to assess the quality and scientific merit of submitted manuscripts. Interns will receive mentorship and training in:
- Evaluating manuscript quality and suitability
- Identifying appropriate peer reviewers
- Making editorial decisions based on reviewer feedback and author revisions
- Communicating effectively with authors and reviewers
