Dear Members,

We would like to make you aware of an increase in fraudulent emails and phishing attempts targeting members of scientific organisations and charities.

SEB has recently identified cases where individuals attempted to impersonate members of our leadership team, including our President, using unofficial email addresses.

Please note:

  • Official SEB communications will only come from email addresses ending in @sebiology.org

  • Do not respond to or click links in suspicious emails claiming to represent SEB

  • Never share personal, financial, or account information via email unless you are certain the request is legitimate

If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from SEB, please report it to us immediately.

Thank you for helping us protect our community and maintain a safe environment for all members.
