SEB arrives at the PEPG Field Techniques Workshop in Portugal!

SEB has landed in Portugal, and the PEPG Field Techniques Workshop is officially underway! The picturesque venue is set to host a week of immersive learning, networking, and scientific exploration, all in celebration of the SEB's centenary. We can't think of a better way to mark our 100th birthday!

Before we dive into the action-packed week, here's a quick rundown of what you need to know.

Navigating the Venue

To help you find your way, we've shared some photos and a video on our website showcasing the entrance and route to the registration desk. Look out for the unmistakable big blue keys painted on the entrance walls - they're your signal that you've arrived at the right place.

Welcome Dinner

We're starting the week with a bang – a delightful group dinner featuring Lasagne! It's not just about the food; it's a chance to connect with fellow participants, get to know each other, and discuss what to expect during the evening. Our team will also provide valuable insights into the week ahead.

Shuttle Service

For those not staying on-site, a convenient shuttle bus will transport you back to Costa de Caparica at 9:30 PM, making a stop at the Crowne Plaza on the way. This will be the daily drop-off and pick-up point throughout the event. The Costa de Caparica stop is here: https://goo.gl/maps/tox1LA1yqMfKWqAi9 and it leaves each morning at 8 AM, making a brief stop at the Crowne Plaza between 8:05 - 8:10 AM. The bus won't wait, so make sure you're at the stop on time!

If you prefer to travel independently, Uber is readily available in the area. A one-way trip to and from the venue costs approximately 7 euros, offering flexibility for your transportation needs.
