RBC Tech for Nature Grant
RBC Tech for Nature Grant
The Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has now opened applications for an RBC Tech for Nature grant of up to £50,000.
RBC have launched a Tech for Nature grant as part of a multi-year commitment to preserving our natural ecosystem. They are looking to support new ideas, technologies and partnerships to solve pressing environmental challenges from preserving biodiversity to ensuring food security in the face of a changing climate.
Funding is available for projects or programs that take place in communities where RBC has a business presence, for programs with measurable social outcomes, and to organizations that are registered charities.
Examples of the types of projects this RBC’s funding will support include:
· Technology platforms or apps to enable conservation or stewardship efforts
· Biodiversity or environmental data hubs to house accurate, reliable and trustworthy data for better decision-making
· Citizen science projects that help residents become stewards of their local ecosystems and contribute to data collection
If you are interested in applying, or know a project or organisation who is using innovative technologies to solve pressing environmental challenges, please share the RBC Tech for Nature information guide and the RSB Tech for Nature PDF Brochure
