The Spring 2026 edition of SEB Magazine is now available on demand, bringing together inspiring stories, cutting-edge research and community highlights under the theme of Resilience.

This issue explores how resilience drives adaptation and innovation across experimental biology.

Feature articles examine the digital transformation of anatomy research, cellular responses to environmental stress, and the mechanisms that help plants cope with a changing world. Together, they showcase the interdisciplinary approaches helping scientists address some of today’s most pressing biological challenges.

The magazine also celebrates the creativity and achievements of the SEB community through member highlights, researcher spotlights and outreach initiatives.
Readers will find reflections on diverse career pathways in the life sciences, coverage of recent SEB events, and discussions on emerging topics such as generative AI in higher education.

Looking ahead, the issue offers a preview of the SEB Annual Conference Florence 2026, where around 1,000 biologists from around the world will gather to share ideas, discoveries and perspectives.

We hope this edition provides inspiration, insight and a renewed appreciation for resilience in science, nature and the global research community.
