The Society for Experimental Biology  is committed to supporting a diverse and inclusive global research community.
We are pleased to highlight a valuable funding opportunity from The Company of Biologists: the Bio-Global South Conference Travel Grants.

These grants are designed to support researchers based in low- and middle-income countries, helping to reduce financial barriers to attending international scientific meetings.
By contributing towards travel and related costs, the scheme enables scientists to present their research, build collaborations, and engage more fully with the global life sciences community.

Applicants should note that upcoming funding rounds are intended for travel taking place after 20 July 2026.

As such, this opportunity is particularly well suited to those planning participation in conferences and events later in the year and beyond.

We encourage eligible researchers to explore this opportunity and consider how it could support their future conference attendance and professional development:

SEB will continue to promote opportunities that help broaden access to international scientific exchange and support our members worldwide.
