Currently I am a Postdoctoral Researcher (funded by FCT Individual Grants) at MARE – Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre, University of Lisbon MARE (Portugal).  I have a degree in Marine Biology (2006, Faculty of Science University of Lisbon, FCUL), MSc in Aquaculture (2008, ICCM, Universidad de Las Palmas, Spain) and PhD in Marine Sciences (2016, FCUL).

Over the last 5 years, I have developed research on climate change and ecophysiology fields, as part of a multidisciplinary research team, RuiRosaLab (http://www.ruirosalab.com) that seeks to understand how future environmental changes affect marine biodiversity. As a young researcher I am eager and highly motivated to contribute for a better climate change research and to support policies for sustainable management strategies to protect marine biodiversity in changing oceans.
