Welcome to the Conservation Physiology Group!

Dear all Conservation Physiology Members,

Welcome to the Conservation Physiology Group!
We hope you came back home safely after the SEB Conference.

We are thrilled to have you join us. We would like to greet all members that have joined the group since last week and to thank all those that come to meet Sophie during the Conference.

Here are a short description of some activities / initiatives that can be conducted as part of the Conservation Physiology Group of interest:
- Proposing researchers to nominate for the President’s medals, Animal Section

- Proposing session topics for the next SEB conferences

- Assisting with organization efforts, including inviting researchers for plenary talks, finding sponsors, animating sessions as chair-man, and other related tasks.

- Proposing workshop topics

- Proposing researchers to invite for giving online seminars dealing with Conservation Physiology

- Participating to Conservation Physiology Group of interest activities: Journal Clubs, Discussions, Seminars, Workshops, Mentoring

After the summer break, we would propose to you a first online activity: a welcome chat and a seminar. We will give you more details about it in September! Stay tuned!

Welcome aboard! We are really happy that you all join the Conservation Physiology Group of interest. Don’t hesitate to fill the survey (Discussion thread started by Jordy last month) to transmit us your expectations for this Group.

We are excited to officially kick off our Conservation Physiology activities!

We wish you a great summer,

Marta and Sophie
