Book your place for the upcoming OED webinar: Applying Best Practice in Life Sciences Education
The Society for Experimental Biology invites you to join our upcoming FREE webinar taking place on 20 May 2026 from 14:00 to 15:00 (UK time).
For this session, in our OED series, we will feature two speakers on the topic of applying best practice in life sciences education:
Dr Laura McCaughey – who will share the outcomes and recommendations from the Future Skills Frameworks in the Life Sciences event, hosted at the University of Glasgow in June 2025. The event brought together academics, careers professionals, support services staff, students, and industry representatives from across Scotland to explore how skills frameworks can better support student development and career readiness.
Dr Itumeleng Moroenyane – will explore teaching innovations and discuss a new initative he developed in response to the Plant Science Education Manifesto, outlining practical approaches to embedding its priorities into life sciences education.
