As preparations continue for the SEB Annual Conference in Glasgow in 2027, nominations are now open for the SEB President’s Medals and the SEB Annual Lecture Awards. These awards recognise scientific excellence and outstanding contributions to research, celebrating talented early-career scientists and leading researchers across the biological sciences. PRESIDENT'S MEDAL AWARDS
The SEB President's Medals are awarded annually to young scientists of outstanding merit.
Nominations are now open for The SEB President's Medals that will be presented at our Annual Conference in Glasgow
There is an award for each section (Animal, Cell, Plant and EOD). and we would like to invite you to submit nominations for suitable candidates using our simple online form.

SEB ANNUAL LECTURE AWARDS
Each year at the Annual Conference of the SEB, the work of George Parker Bidder III and Harold Woolhouse is honored with plenary lectures alongside the Cell Biology and the OED plenary lecture.
Lecturers are given by prominent scientists of outstanding merit who have demonstrated excellence in their fields of research.
