Join the Journal of Experimental Botany as an Assistant Editor

The Society for Experimental Biology is currently recruiting an Assistant Editor to join the editorial team of the Journal of Experimental Botany (JXB) on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The Assistant Editor will support the administration of peer review, provide excellent customer service to the JXB community, coordinate journal meetings, contribute to the promotion of journal content and support the editorial board and wider development of the journal.

The role is based in Lancaster, UK, with the editorial team working remotely but attending the editorial office at Lancaster University at least one day per week.

If you have experience of the academic system and peer review process, excellent communication and organisational skills, and an interest in scientific publishing, we would encourage you to apply.
