What is mentoring? Mentoring is a structured conversation between a mentor and mentee, focused on the mentee’s development. Mentors offer insight, encouragement, and guidance from a position of experience.
What are the benefits? The scheme supports the development of both mentors and mentees. Benefits include:
- learning new skills
- defining and working towards meaningful goals
- building networks and friendships
- supporting others’ development
