ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
All abstracts for the Annual Conference must be submitted via our online abstract system.
Abstracts can be submitted for any of the scientific sessions at the Annual Conference.
The abstract submission deadline has been extended to Midnight (GMT) on Saturday 30 April 2022.

Plenary Lecturers

Young Scientist Award (YSAS)
The YSAS Award provides the opportunity for postgraduates and postdocs (who are within 5 years since completing their PhD) to showcase their talents and is designed to recognise the best young researchers.
The winners of the award will be announced during the Medal and Prize session.

Irene Manton Poster Prize
The Irene Manton Poster Prize is open to students and early career scientists presenting a poster at the SEB Annual Conference. A prize of £100 is awarded to the best poster in each section (Animal, Cell, Plant and OED).

TRAVEL GRANT
Please note that SEB are able to offer a number of travel grant opportunities for student and early career scientist members of the SEB to attend the SEB Conference.
To apply for a SEB Conference travel grant, please fill in the Travel grant application form by 3 May 2022.

CPD POINTS
The SEB Annual Conference has been approved by the Royal Society of Biology (RSB) got the purpose of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Attendance or presenting at the conference will be counted as 84 CPD points. Attendees can record their CPD through the RSB website (mySociety) and upon completion of your CPD year with 50 points achieved or more, will be issued a certificate.
