Irene Manton Award

The Irene Manton Poster Prize is open to students and early career scientists and takes place each year at the SEB Conference. A prize of £100 is awarded to the best poster in each section (animal, cell, plant biology and EOD).

How to Enter

HOW TO ENTER

  1. Submit an abstract online for a relevant session at the SEB Conference on or before 08   March 2024   and tick the box which states "I would like to be considered for Irene Manton poster prize".
  2. A PDF version of your final poster must be submitted via our online portal, by 21 May 2024. Posters will be judged during the poster sessions at the SEB Conference.
  3. In the circumstance where your oral abstract submission for the SEB Conference has been accepted for poster presentation, you will still have the opportunity to apply for the Irene Manton poster prize and will need to provide a PDF of the final poster to enter the competition.
