Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE) Evening Event

Join us for an exciting evening of lectures and networking at the joint event hosted by the Society for Experimental Biology (SEB) and the Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE). To celebrate the SEB's centenary year, we're bringing together prominent biologists to discuss the progress made in experimental biology research over the past century and where the next century may lead us.

The talks will focus on the theme of sustainability and the contributions of this work in shaping a sustainable future, using the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals as a framework. We invite you to come and join us for an evening of insightful discussion and networking with like-minded individuals.

The event will take place on Wednesday the July 5th 2023, at the RSE premises on George Street. The reception will consist of 4 short talks, each lasting 15 minutes, followed by a drink’s reception and networking session for 140 attendees. The event is free to attend, but limited availability means booking in advance is essential. Please note that if you can no longer attend, kindly cancel your booking to make way for someone else on the waitlist.

Can't make it in person? Don't worry! The event will be live streamed for free so that anyone can watch remotely. We look forward to seeing you there!
