KEY CONFERENCE CHANGES

We would like to highlight some important updates for the SEB Annual Conference in Florence, designed to support the Society’s strategic transition to Open Access while maintaining a high-quality experience for delegates:

  • The conference will now run for 3 days instead of 3.5 days.

  • Speaker arrangements and audio-visual costs have been adjusted to reduce expenses.

  • The conference subsidy will be gradually reduced, but SEB continues to cover a substantial portion of the ticket price to ensure accessibility.

  • Scientific quality, networking, and inclusivity remain a top priority.
