How To Get To The Conference Venue

Address:  Firenze Fiera Spa,  Piazza Adua, 1, 50123 Firenze FI, Italy

The conference venue,  Firenze Fiera Spa  (including the Fortezza da Basso, Palazzo dei Congressi, and Palazzo degli Affari), is centrally located and easily accessible by various modes of transport.

BY TRAM

The closest tram stop is  Fortezza, served by the  T1 line. This is a quick and efficient way to travel from the suburbs or other parts of the city.

BY  TRAIN

The venue is a very short, 5-10 minute walk  from Florence's main railway station,  Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN). Exit the station and follow signs towards the Fortezza da Basso (the main exhibition center).

BY AIR

The venue is accessible from Florence's local airport and two major international hubs that are well-connected by fast public transport. All routes lead directly to  Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN)  train station, which is just a  5-10 minute walk  from the conference centre.

• Florence Airport (FLR - Amerigo Vespucci): This is the closest and most convenient option. Take the  T2 Tram line  directly from the airport to the final stop, Unità/Alamanni-Stazione SMN. The journey is fast, taking about  20 minutes, with trams running frequently. The Firenze Fiera complex is right across the main street from the SMN station area.

• Pisa International Airport (PSA - Galileo Galilei): This is Tuscany's largest airport and a popular choice for budget airlines. From the airport, take the  PisaMover  shuttle (a 5-minute ride) to  Pisa Centrale  train station. From there, frequent regional and express trains run directly to  Firenze SMN  in approximately  60 to 90 minutes.

• Bologna Airport (BLQ - Guglielmo Marconi): A major airport for European and international flights. Take the  Marconi Express  monorail shuttle from the airport to  Bologna Centrale  train station. From there, high-speed trains (Frecciarossa  or  Italo) run frequently to  Firenze SMN  in an impressively fast  35 to 40 minutes.

BY CAR

The venue is close to the main highways (A1 and A11). Look for directions toward the  Fortezza da Basso; however, note that the entire central area is a  Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), so  parking nearby is difficult and expensive  for non-residents.
