Policy Lates: Bioscience in Government and Parliament
The SEB has been sponsoring and co-organising a series of "Policy Lates" events with RSB since 2020. This event is a finale in-person event and is exclusive to SEB members.
The event will explore how the bioscience community can best engage with the UK Government and Parliament to provide evidence and expertise via advisory and career routes. The event will feature short talks and a panel discussion with various facilitators of scientific engagement routes with Government and Parliament. Following the panel, Professor Dame Angela McLean Hon FRSB, Government Chief Scientific Advisor, will deliver a keynote talk and Q&A. The event will conclude with networking opportunities.
There are limited places at this event as it is by invitation only. If you are interested in attending, please book the event and complete the registration within the booking process. Booking a place DOES NOT guarantee you a place; it is just to register your interest. We will allocate places on a first-come, first-served basis. We will email you if you are successful in getting a place, and we will also notify everyone who is not successful via email.
